Guzman Family Photos

Every week at music class, little Luis and my son dance like angels, sit in their parents laps while listening to every word the teacher says and sing along. Ha! It's more like they run around the room, throw the shakers, sing (scream?) their own version of the songs and wiggle their little bodies to a couple tunes while the adults chase them. Honestly, it is so adorable watching them learn their own versions of the chicken dance, and see their friendships and brains grow around music. The high-energy that most two year olds have was carried into this photo session and was so entertaining! We chased, laughed, played, climbed, and even got a little dirty. It was great fun and made for wonderful photos. My husband and I have known the Guzman's for a long time now. Actually, since day 1 of them meeting and even longer for Lou. We still laugh about his "say hello" video portion from our wedding night. It's entirely in Spanish and we still have no idea what he said! Claire, Lou, and Luis vibe together so well and you can see that connection in these photos. As I was photographing them, I kept thinking that it looked like a scene from the book and movie, The Notebook. I mean - the trees, Claire's dress, the happiness and love - it was just gorgeous. They are picture perfect (literally) and it was a pleasure creating these memories for them.
